Protest & Campaign

What does this mean and what does it do?

Protesting means voicing your opinion in public. It can take many forms but is effective as it can bring attention to an issue that people may be unaware of and also show how many other people are concerned about it. It is a simple form of free speech, basic, personal and direct. It can also be fun and feel very liberating.

Regrettably protests have become discredited by the media due to various acts of violence, however what they often fail to show you is that the violence is often started by the police or security in attendance and often the the most brutal violence is committed against peaceful demonstrators without investigation and without recourse to justice. This is not right but you should be aware that your right to peaceful demonstration is very limited and often can be very dangerous. Even where agent provocateurs are not used, the police will be encouraged to use violence against peaceful demonstrators in order to anger and provoke other demonstrators into reacting with violence, whereupon they can go in beating and arresting and break up the protest. This makes excellent news coverage for the media to portray the protesters in a bad light.

If you were not previously aware then it is time to wake up and realise that the portrayal of the tyrannical regime in China is actually a reflection of the despotic reality of your own country.

Protesting at major meetings such as the G20, the Bilderberg meetings etc. can be important - the aim is to get even just a snippet of footage or coverage on the news. Unfortunately this is often manipulated to make the protesters look bad, crazy or violent but sometimes the message does get across to a few people who may then look it up.

An alternative form of protest is to hold an event at the same time as a major political or business meeting but somewhere else entirely, thus avoiding the masses of stormtroopers, and mafia security amassed at the event itself to help the so called 'leaders' hide away. This is also a way of ignoring them. The best way of usurping these people will be to reclaim government for the people and then they have their assets frozen and they can be tried for the crimes they have committed against humanity. Once they are in prison without their assets they will be nothing and mean nothing. Due to their stronghold on the political arena and their control over the media this would be a difficult task, and ensuring any replacement political representatives and structure does not fall foul of the influence of these criminal terrorists would be paramount.

Campaigning is a step beyond protesting, passing out leaflets, videos, holding public forums and meetings, or distributing leaflets can all form part of a campaign. Anyone can start one but the best campaigns are issue specific and focused. Try to stick to a focused topic and remain factual. One simple irrefutable truth (like no WMD) can be the beginning of a person's awakening if presented peacefully and cheerfully with a set of researchable and evidential facts concerning a particular topic.

Campaigning can be tiresome and difficult, many people just don't want to listen and when presented with something that requires thought, especially something that may challenge somebody's fundamental beliefs in who they are and what their reality is, simply will not be an attractive prospect to most people. The key is to make it interesting and attractive. While it may be hard to be upbeat about the impending doom and total enslavement of mankind bear in mind that it hasn't quite happened yet, and be positive that even awakening one person every now and then is a real victory for anybody campaigning as these people will often go on to become active campaigners themselves.
