This is the big one, the largest attack perpetrated on the USA within its own borders since Pearl Harbour.

There issue is not whether 9/11 was a conspiracy, by definition it was, the issue is who were the conspirators and what was their aim.

For many people 9/11 was the terrorist event that suddenly changed their view of the world, their view of the Middle East, and their view of muslims. Sadly most have still not looked beyond the dull mindless repetition of mainstream TV and newspapers to delve further into the real questions about the events prior to, during, and after 9/11.

There are so many questions surrounding 9/11 and so many other resources on this event that this section will be kept short save for some introductory videos below the list of key points and questions highlighted below.

Conspiracy theory debunkers are not helped by the fact that the accepted public story about 9/11 is actually a less believable conspiracy theory than the conspiracy theories they seek to debunk.

In addition to the organisational aspects of the attacks, along with the numerous convenient mishaps, the key question of who stood to gain from these attacks is striking. It certainly wasn't the Muslim community, nor Bin Laden. We also know of course without any question that the main stream media and the governments of the USA lie to its people. This has been proven time and again and with absolute consistency for decades. There comes a point when it really does appear that the idea that the idea that 9/11 was an inside job actually makes a whole lot more sense than the idea that it was not.

• Al Qaeda literally means 'The List', it originates from a list of Mujahideen who were recruited, armed, equipped, and trained by the American CIA during the 80's and 90's in order to support a covert war against Russia in Afghanistan.
• No steel framed building had collapsed through fire prior to 9/11. Three collapsed on the same day.
• Building 7 was not hit by a jet and was only suffering from a relatively minor fire before 'collapsing'.
• 1207 Architects and engineering professionals have signed a petition demanding a truly independent investigation into 9/11. They are not satisfied that either the official story, nor the official inquiry addressed the most pertinent issues about what happened on the day.
• The crime scene evidence was removed to China within days of the event.
• At least 9 of the 'suicide' hijackers were at some point after 9/11 found to be alive and well including five of those reported as the hijackers of Flight 11 from Boston that crashed into the North Tower of the WTC.
• An abnormally high volume of put options were placed against American Airlines stock just prior to 9/11. (This means if American Airlines shares dropped the people with the put options stood to make a financial gain). If you had knowledge for example that an American Airline jet was about to be subject to an act of terrorism then buying put options would be a sure way of making some quick money.
• Operation Northwoods discusses the use of staged terrorist attacks against mainland USA civilian targets in order to support aggressive US foreign policy. It openly discusses the bombing of civilians and the use of radio controlled planes in staged acts of terrorism.
• NORAD (North American Air Defence) generals said they had learned of the attacks in time to scramble fighter jets which would have been capable of intercepting some if not all of the planes. They were given instructions from high command which prevented them from doing this.
• Despite NORAD generals confirming they were informed about the attacks in time to scramble air defence, the FAA (Federal Aviation Authority) claims that NORAD were not aware of the attacks until 3 out of 4 of the planes had hit their targets.
• The flight path of the jet alleged to have hit the Pentagon building was all but impossible for a passenger Jet to have traversed, even in a better equipped and smaller plane the level of skills necessary to carry out the manoeuvre required would have been of an expert level, the terrorists were nowhere near this.
• CCTV footage that would dismiss this concern about the attack on the Pentagon has never been released.
• Sixteen of the 19 alleged hijackers had issues with their passports and or visas which ordinarily would have prevented their entry into the USA. One or two slipping through would be odd, but 16 getting through is more than a little unbelievable. Anyone who has been through US customs even prior to 9/11 will know this. You can't even get an unauthorised apple into the country - how do 16 potential terrorists without necessary authentic documentation manage to do this? The idea that this was sheer incompetence is wearing a little thin.
• The good people trying to alert others to this conspiracy have often highlighed the obvious dubious nature of alleged Bin Laden videos - they were often criticised or simply labelled as 'nuts'. The CIA have recently openly admitted to faking Bin Laden videos, as well as planning (although not carrying out or releasing) fake videos of Saddam Hussain engaging in dubious sexual acts prior to their invasion of Iraq. Once again the conspiracy theory has been shown to be fact.
• Section V of Rebuilding America's Defences a document prepared in 2000 for the Project for the New American Century, entitled "Creating Tomorrow's Dominant Force", includes the sentence: "Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event––like a new Pearl Harbor"
