Food Control

He who controls the food controls the people. In ancient times this was quite literal in terms of agriculture and providing the physical sustenance for survival, handing out bread to the population or paying the labourers with grain was common place.

Today this more direct form of influence is controlled though the manipulation of monetary systems, however the control of food has become a more devisive instrument.

The legislation over food has been increasing by the ream on a daily basis for decades, the EU, WHO, FAO are the key players and they define what can be called food, what is allowed to be grown, what is allowed to be sold, what can be mixed and in what proportions, what is allowed to be added to food, what it is called, how it is labelled, what is healthy, what is a poison, and so on. Now guidance is one thing but someone telling you what you can and cannot grow on your own farm or what you can and cannot offer for sale at market is not in anybody's best interest except for those in control.

Genetically modified foods have been in use for years, in particular the modification of crops so that they become unable to reproduce has been a prevalent form of monopolisation in food markets. Not only does this mean that the crops themselves cannot be used to seed but also that other crops can become affected by attempts at cross breeding rendering the organic and unmodified crop incapable of seeding.

The largest concern nutritionally is the tyrannical Codex Alimentarius which is a universal food control policy being implemented on a global basis. The videos below do the better job of explaining some of the things contained within these documents.
