The entire history of the modern banking and corporate system is based on control and power, the modern illusion is that the politicians are in control of the financial institutions whereas the opposite is the case.

Finance and profit is involved directly in wars, they simply could not take place without the money to pay for the soldiers (paid soldiers not fighting for just cause should be redefined mercenaries), their armourments and their equipment. Often this money is found by taxing the people, the money then being paid to private companies and individuals who make a substantial profit. In March 2008 the BBC reported that the estimated cost of the Iraq war is approaching that of World War 2 which would be $5 Trillion in modern terms. Think about that figure and remember that this money does not simply disappear into a black hole, this money is paid to people, most of it to private companies and corporations involved in the manufacture of weapons, along with other logistical and infrastructure support. This is a huge amount of money, would $5 Trillion bend your morals, not even a little?

Wars shape nations and attitudes, and as such there is no great leap of faith in understanding that he who controls the money controls the wars.

What is astounding is that the simple obvious truth of the matter is beyond the comprehension of many people. While the mechanisms of politics, banking and the legal system are contrived and deliberately complex, in essence this is a simple situation. People with the money and weapons are using and abusing those without. It happens in every city and town in the world day in and day out, should it be any suprise that it happens in Government and in business?

People respect other people simply based on their wealth or their physical prowess. There is nothing wrong with making good from honest hard work and industry, and nothing wrong with friendly competitive athleticism, both are to be applauded. But people are too ready to give respect to people based on the appearance and without knowing the reality behind the facade. When faced with the bare brutal truth they are incapable of accepting it, even though the facts are simply there and exist, and very often are not even contended.

Look into the history of modern states, Britain and the USA, were built on genocide, slavery and the drugs trade. Indeed most recorded large organised civilisations to date have been based around the manipulation of the masses through covert propaganda or overt physical oppression.

The true control system of modern times is the illusion of money, the manipulation of the most illogical and bizarre monetary systems with the foundation of the coming tyranny being based on debt. In reality this is nothing but fabricated digital numbers yet it is and will continue to be used to control people and hold them in slavery. It would be a simple revolution if everybody simply refused to pay their debts, but it would take an enormous co-ordinated campaign. The system simply would not be able to cope, we would soon see the physical oppression follow once this covert oppression was broken.
